Web Directory Generator (WDG) is a software for generating web sites (or its parts) with directory-like structure. Here are some ideas concerning places / sites where you could successfully use WDG: Sites with collections of web links, Sites with structured address data, Sites containing catalogs of products, Advertising sites, Sites with databases, Other sites with structured data, contents, archives...
For the web sites generated with WDG, only classic web hosting is needed. There is no need for special web applications on the server side. Sites will be generated off-line, and later, uploaded to the web server. Links between pages are relative. There is no difference when browser displays pages off-line or on-line. WDG can be successfully integrated with other technologies for developing web sites: web applications, CSS, JavaScript, Java applets, Multimedia...
