Email Announcer brings several new features to Microsoft Outlook. With Email Announcer installed you never have to stop what you're doing to see what just popped into your inbox. Every time you receive a new email, reminder, task, meeting request, or read receipt a customizable announcement is spoken out by one of your favorite Microsoft Agent characters.
Another valuable feature of Email Announcer is read receipt notification. With Email Announcer you never have to wonder if an incoming email has a read receipt attached. Now when email with a read receipt arrives two things happen. First the character of your choice will announce that a read receipt is attached and that the sender will be notified when the email is opened. Secondly a notification dialog box will pop up displaying which incoming email messages have read receipts attached. This works great when you're away from your desk.
Email Announcer will also read to you any email that you are composing or have received. This feature allows you to continue working while the email message is being read directly to you! This works great when you receive several emails and can't find the time to read them all.
