ABCFind provides a wealth of powerful features that significantly increase the productivity of a Visual Basic developer. It seamlessly Integrates into the Visual Basic IDE, completely replacing the standard Find and Replace dialogs that come with VB. It provides many more regular expressions than standard VB; for example you can specify that only matches that occur in declaration lines should be displayed, or, only matches that occur within string literals. ABCFind can use an Or operator to specify more than one expression to find in the same pass. Searches can be performced across all projects in the project group, all open code modules or all editable/checked-out modules. ABCFind can also ignore all matches that occur within comments. ABCFind can search historical versions of the code in the associated SourceSafe database. The power of ABCFind is further enhanced by its ability to run as a standalone application. In this way, you can search for matches in VB Projects on any hard-disk in your network. Furthermore, you can even search for matches in VB projects contained within SourceSafe repositories, including the version history. ABCFind is compatible with VB versions 5 and 6.
